This is Professor Ed. He runs Frequency One Management. All information concerning Professor Ed is ultimately classified--not even the gods have access to this data.

This is Max, Professor Ed's personal artificial memory. Max is an impossibly huge Artificial Intelligence computer with a bad attitude who is thoroughly loyal to Professor Ed and Frequency One. Max maintains a limitless number of mobile units throughout different reality levels, usually manifesting as small hovering globes. These spheres are constructed entirely of neutronium (superdense matter containing no electrons or protons). In the highly unlikely prospect that a Max unit becomes damaged, the intense gravitational pull of the remaining mass will pull the surrounding star system into itself as it collapses into a black hole. (Talk about taking your enemies with you when you go...)

What is reality? Reality is a conjunction of waveforms that define an environment for any intelligent species. Any single object's waveform is defined by programming on a cassette tape which is inserted into Frequency One's Matrix, becoming part of the Master Circuit. A cassette may be pulled from the Matrix for reprogramming, causing the object to cease to exist. This Matrix, which exists in an undisclosed region outside of reality, is only a section of Frequency One's artificial memory support system. This entire setup exists to maintain the grand multitude of waveforms created in dim prehistory by the Maker Newts.
